Interesting that even a council member was under the impression that the utility “service charge” was temporary.
Thank you Ms. Payne for your service.
My yes vote for the previous bond measure is now looking like a no…..

What happened to the audit of city finances Mayor Morris promised?

Can someone (Bagwell?) expand on the "gas lighting" comment?

The city charter is way overdue to be updated.
One example is it still lists the fire department until its control.

The charter also states wards will be updated to reflect population changes.
I have asked when that was last done but have not yet received a response.

Good self-care, Payne. We’ll miss ethics on the council.

The council can’t take NO for an answer and it would add to Payne’s stress. We voted NO on the referendum for a new community center, fixing the pool and adding onto the senior center, etc. Yet, the mayor and council are going to hit us over the head with referendum after referendum until we bend the knee.

No means No!
