My ancestor did not fight for the freedom to be stupid and careless and crazy with fireworks as a way to celebrate our independence.

Too bad Mac can't get something going for the Fourth. I think a lot of the mortar's and other illegal fireworks would just go away if we had our own firework show to go to. Really miss the ones @ Patton w/ live band and food and stuff.

Maybe the NR can do a follow-up and tell us how many citations were given in the city….. My hunch is not very many!

Fireworks started on the 3rd and ran through the 5th. Poor dogs were terrified!
