And yet the public has no confidence the judicial system.Makes a sane person wonder why as a repeat offender he was allowed bail, perhaps he didn't do enough pain and needed a second chance? Does the judicial system not understand the phrase "repeat offender"? All food for thought while safe in your own home.

wyser, I completely understand what you are saying. As a society we swing back and forth between getting angry and tough on crime "throw the key away" and being sympathetic and trying our best to give people second chances, especially if they've had a traumatic childhood. I'm not saying that's the case here though.
