Maybe if we had a designated place for these people to be legally, law enforcement could spend some time policing the dragstrips that are popping up all over town. Just a thought….

There needs to be a better way. Taking the roof from over their head isn’t a good answer. How about creating a space for them to be. I get both sides. The eye sore and the filth is out of control but if they had a designated area that could be watched over by the city with consistent trash pickups that would alleviate the filth. Sending them off and making them someone else’s problem isn't the answer. Uncomfortable conversations need to be had.
