Thank you for sharing about library services! One small correction - Library staff deliver books, not volunteers. We do count on our volunteers for many other tasks to help the library run smoothly.

Our library has gone above and beyond during the pandemic to get materials and access to its patrons. This has been invaluable to me and to many others. I'm a former librarian, and know from colleague across the country how rare this level of service is in these times. Friends in PDX have not been able to access print books for months. Kudos to the librarians and staff who have been so resourceful, innovative, and service-oriented in these difficult times. You are much appreciated.
