"Catalytic"?
Yes, but not for the taxpayer.
And likely could not be completed anyway.

It's a loser.
Better to admit the mistake and change course now, rather than farther down the road.
Lulu
Catalytic? Vertically integrated? How are you strangling the English language?

Seems to me that we should be directing all of our focus on the financial aspects of this project rather than on parking spaces. Palindrome has projected $15 million in tax revenue over 20 years. Has anyone evaluated whether that number is realistic? Is Leland Consulting running the show? So far, the city has invested almost $5 million into this mess. How much more we will see in consulting fees, interest, utilities and security before negotiations are completed and a deal is done? As time passes and city costs increase, Palindrome will get that much closer to the driver's seat in calling the shots IMHO.

Moe's prescription:
Rezone for industrial, such as former Ultimate RB property. Put property on market for lease or sale.
Meanwhile, with the planners, consultants and so on fired, and the drama over, take the savings and hire local contractors to get busy and repair / upgrade the stormwater system.
Ron
Good morning Moe, thank you for the perfect prescription. I mentioned on another post someone should start a lawsuit against the city for this ridiculous giveaway. Put this property on the market before it’s too late. Use the money towards the storm sewer. If the city manager backs this add him to the list of unemployed. Fire, Heather Richards, and the planting staff as well. I’d really like to see the new Mayor Kim stand up and put the Kabash to it. She seems to be on the fence.

I was really hoping for a toxic sludge factory instead of housing and retail.

Moe and Ron:
No.
Stay the course Ms. Mayor, but not as a giveaway.
Nice residential, recreation, and retail that McMinnville can be proud of.
Lulu
Smoke and mirrors: obfuscation. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
