Linfield offers Dining Room play

Linfield University’s beginning directing class will present “The Dining Room” Friday and Saturday in the campus theater. Shows will start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $7 general and $5 for students at linfield.edu/arts.

“The Dining Room” by A.R. Gurney is a comedy set in the dining room of a an affluent household. It is made up of vignettes portraying typical behavior.

Student directors include Alyssa Catalani, Jemma Casem, Hannah Jones, Tony Pascalar, Cristina Purkey, Cameron Ramirez, Dominic Thompson and DeAndre Williams.

The play is recommended for ages 13 and older. Children under 7 will not be admitted.

The theater is in Kenneth W. Ford Hall, accessible from Highway 99W near Albertsons.
