Three cheers that Heidi Bell is gone, but seriously? The same group that brought us that disaster thinks that they should be able to choose the interim? It is way past time for that group to put their egos and their greed aside (that means you Lucy Hebert and Dennis McElroy) and do what’s best for the city.

As far as recruiting the next city manager, I hope they do their homework and don’t let the greedy ones decide who gets the job, if they even get quality candidates to choose from. Apparently they think that potential candidates for the job don’t read, or do their research.

We had a wonderful community. Ms Bell and the council did their best to try and take that away. I hope and pray we can get back to that, but the citizens need to ensure that happens by watching this council and their actions very closely
