Planning Commission meeting room was full of Carlton residents, all who spoke were strongly opposed to the gas station plan. If and when an actual planning application is submitted citizens will definitely continue to voice their opposition.

A New Generation

Testimony revealed that the DEQ was called in by concerned citizens (a former Planning Commissioner) not the City themselves. The sensitive Hawn Creek Floodplain and wetlands area was demolished by a bulldozer on a
weekend, horrifying neighbors. Obviously this is an idiotic place to locate a gas station.
