Free CPR training offered

A basic CPR class will be offered Saturday, Oct. 18, in the Amity Fire Hall.

People can drop in between 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to learn lifesaving techniques. Admission is free.

Asher Weiler, a senior at Amity High School, organized the class for his senior project. He knows the importance of CPR — it saved his life after he went into cardiac arrest last year.
