A really nice man and a local hero.

Rest in peace Captain!

Truly a honor to have known him,R.I.P.

I agree; a very nice man and I'm pleased to have known him, even just a little.

If you think doing things in the "everyday" makes no difference.....A young girl once, I was changing jobs and needed a safe place to live. I wrote to a PO Box to "apply" for the rental. I knew it was going work out great right then. He extended his kindness in many ways while I was his tenant. It impressed upon me someone who believed in a young girls "word". I kept my promises and he kept his. Thank you Capt. Armstrong for your kindness and generosity to a girl just making her way. And I did.
