I'll still only vote for this if it includes only the rec center with the new pool. Everything else is just regular business and should be in the budget where we are not paying interest on loans.

Yes, a new pool would be nice... BUT... in today's economy, does it make more sense to spend $25-27 million to update the CURRENT pool instead of spending $40-45 million on a new facility? From a taxpayer perspective- costs/fees keep rising faster than my income. Jessica Payne is correct, the monthly service fee in place continues to be a sticking point for me.

$13.27/month for the majority of MW&L customers - which was to pay off a city mismanagement deficit that has now been paid 2+ times over - and the city is paying $18K/mo.(interest only) for the RB Rubber property - it appears the city's COLA is a little bloated by previous poor decisions.
