Just to be clear since the article doesn’t contain details, I was recommending pavers much like the library plaza. This spirit of sponsorship is healthy and engaging for the parks. Community supported sponsorship was the intent not large corporations or billboards. Thank you.

Please just build some nice parks all over town. Trust me, everyone will find them and enjoy them without needing to bring in all of that divisive left wing ideology. That DEI stuff has gotten to be like a damn religion to the zealots on the left.

So months ago there was talk of building a new pool and joining with Linfield to do this. What is going on with that? i have asked people and told nothing as it is not being discussed that they know of. Were they just blowing smoke?

Rds this activity was conducted by MacPac and Zack Geary is the city council liaison who participated on that committee. I'd email him if you want updated info but I heard they would not be asking for a bond until after the fire district was pushed through.
