Quoting Mayor Morris:
“We are one city made up of a diverse group of people, representing different races, genders, ages, sexualities and beliefs. I believe the city should only fly the United States and Oregon state flags, which is inclusive to all,”
Thank you for bringing common sense to city politics Mayor Morris! It's a breath of fresh air after the last mayor.

Our McMinnville community "together" should recognize one flag, Stars and Stripes!
Ron
Exactly goodbye Mayor Remy. Good job, Kim. There’s really only one flag that matters. The rest of the flags are just for advertisement . I stand for the stars and the stripes. Remember, that’s the one that people fought and died for.

Housing needs to go up, not out because we're running out of green space, which will affect flora and fauna as well as using precious water. Farmers cannot use too much water, but a developer can put in a pump and the developer's home buyers can use all the water they want?
C'mon. Time to limit sprawl

Thank You Mayor Morris! 🇺🇸

What? Morris hates gay people? No way!

C'mon Otis...
Just because Morris chose not to fly the pride flag, then you think she hates gay people? That's a big leap Mr. Otis! Her decision to fly the US flag and the state flag demonstrates inclusion of ALL citizens. (If she agreed to fly the pride flag, where would she draw the line? All sorts of minority groups would expect their flags would get equal time.) She made a wise decision. Just admit it.

Makes one wonder if Otis could only fly one flag which one would it be?
Loretta
I very much appreciate Mayor Morris’s wisdom and fairness in this decision and support it 100%. In a time when we work at undoing years of discrimination in all its forms, we cannot and should not set apart any one group of people to be celebrated unless we are going to divide and celebrate the many, many groups that would expect the same treatment.
