As we all witness the extremism from the "ladies" who are making terrible costly and dangerous decisions for Yamhill County citizens, I remain hopeful that this recall will remove Berschauer now, and set the stage for voting Starrett out at our first opportunity. WE DESERVE BETTER!

Berschauer and Starrett, we need more like them! Liberals just ruin anything they can. Have you been to Portland lately!

To answer YOUR question, I have NOT been to Portland lately. I enjoyed living there in the ‘70s and ‘80s, but now it feels dangerous to me. However, I credit the problems in that formerly benign and beautiful little city to extremism as opposed to liberalism. (No liberal person I know agrees with, or promotes violence and destruction.)

Re your comment, it is my understanding that a number of the signatures on the recall petition are folks who voted for Berschauer and are now unhappy with her performance. Obviously you still support her and her fellow commissioner Starrett. I have previously provided some of the problems I see with the way these women are controlling our county government and spending our taxes. Would you care to share a few specifics about what it is you like about them and how you believe that they represent your interests?

Thank you

There’s already a huge “Vote No on Berschauer recall “ sign up at Hill Rd.

She's worried.

GRM- Not surprised.....That same location had a giant photo of Berschauer before the general election. She has the best campaign signs that out of county money can buy....

Treefarmer: Heh. Ditto.

Those giant signs with Lindsay’s smirk, are great incentive to remember to vote her out. There is plenty of Yamhill county big money supporting her. On one day alone Gary and Kathy George put $9500 into her campaign. She is “owned” by the wealthy and doesn’t need to care about anyone else.

I don't know Lindsay and have never met her, but the constant juvenile put downs of her that occur like clock work at the bottom of these articles is a real turn off and makes me feel sympathetic towards her. I'm probably not the only one. Are you inadvertently helping her campaign?
Making fun of her appearance? Good grief, are we still in middle school??
Constantly whining about where she gets her campaign donations? C'mon guys stick to the issues. If you don't like that people from out of the county give her money, go do the same thing for your candidate. It's a competition. Focus on your candidate and do whatever it takes within the rules to get him/her elected. Your crybaby whining is not helping you.

Unfortunately Joel, with out of county money, come out of county priorities. Ms Berschauer was voted into office to represent the best interests of Yamhill county residents.... It hasn’t happened.

I have been checking back for a week to see if Peacock971 responded to my post on 1/30. Crickets. So I remain at a loss to understand how and why any ordinary Yamhill County citizen would feel well represented by Berschauer and Starrett. I suppose “Peacock” could be one of the wealthy land owners who have erected large offensive signs of support along some of our main roads and consider that sufficient? Perhaps some supporters have plenty of money and are not concerned about the way our tax dollars are being wasted on ludicrous mismanagement and the huge attorney’s bills necessary to defend the so-called “decisions?” I remember a rallying cry from early in our history: “NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION!” Many of us are NOT being represented but I guess the influential folk must be quite content to make the rest of us carry your designer water?

I love the oversized signs: reminds me of the Lenin, Stalin and Hitler eras.
