Does the city have a Plan B? If they don't, the longer negotiations go the greater leverage for Palindrome as the city goes further in debt on interest charges. Might plan B to be cutting our losses by just outright selling the property?

You’re kidding, right?

Seems The City barely has a plan A.

The city should not be purchasing real estate unless they plan to use the land for city purposes.

All three comments are spot on. Somebody needs stop Heather Richards. She helped ruin Bend! Now she’s hard at work bringing down McMinnville. How about the plan A gives the property away for free while we’re paying back Sewer money and paying interest. Then to not even charge the developer property tax. What a perfect business decision. Then what happens when palindrome fails McMinnville will be holding the ball. Thanks to Heather Richards which is also keeping the meetings closed door to the public. What a scam. Sad Mayor Morris, Mike Brandt, Kelly McDonald P Peter K and other people haven’t stepped up to stop this ridiculous project and sell the property to a developer !! That’s willing to pay for it all including paying local property taxes.
Plan B should be 100% sell the property get out of the real estate business Heather and company.
