The bottle drive is held on the first Saturday of each month except July because of the holiday. Donations of cans and bottles will support Grad Night fundraising efforts. Glass class: McMinnville Parks and Recreation will host a free beginning stained glass workshop from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, July 12, at the McMinnville Community Center, 600 N.E. Evans St. William Rechle of Hypmatizarism Glass will instruct safety, technique and care of stained glass, and guide participants as they work with a pre-cut and ground glass kit.  Bounty benefit: The Bounty of Yamhill County, a fundraiser supporting Yamhill Enrichment Society (YES) begins with a "Sounds of Joy" concert at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at George Fox University’s Bauman Auditorium, featuring Joy – Junior Orchestra of Yamhill County and guest artist Aaron Meyer. Admission is $10 for adults and free for those 18 and younger. The Big Salmon Bake Night will follow from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, at Sokol Blosser Winery, with a salmon dinner, local wines and food.
