Truck rollover victim is identified

Troopers said the 2000 Freightliner was nearing milepost 34 when it slid off Highway 47 and tumbled onto its side in a grassy field. Reynolds, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, had to be extricated and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 53-foot trailer was loaded with 11 pallets of chocolate syrup. Several hundred gallons spilled, and a cleanup effort resumed Monday morning.
The busy highway was blocked in both directions for several hours as a heavy-duty wrecker worked to stabilize the tractor-trailer rig for eventual removal.
