There are two sessions each day. On Feb. 23, the kindergarten through fourth-grade sessions is from 9 a.m. to noon in the McMinnville High School gym. Please, no cleats. Fifth graders through eighth graders will go from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 23.
If the weather permits, the Feb. 24 session will be outside at the varsity baseball field behind Patton Middle School. The K-fourth grade session will go from noon to 3 p.m. The fifth-eighth grade session will go from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The purpose of the camp is to teach younger kids the fundamentals of baseball while aiding the older players with their transition to high school baseball. The cost is $50 and includes a camp t-shirt. There will be no refunds after Feb. 19.
For more information or to get a camp registration form, please e-mail Bland at firstname.lastname@example.org. Walk ups are welcome, but it is suggested that campers register early so camp staff can get a count of the number of campers and prepare.
