Thank you News Register for the great article.

To clarify a little, this year for St.Baldrick's Foundation I have registered a local team of volunteers to participate in an event at Western Oregon University. This event is scheduled for Friday March 14th, 4-8 pm at the Werner University Center of WOU. I decided after the 2013 event I would take a year to see what others are doing for the cause, and I'm very excited to be working with the organizer at WOU. I hope to bring a SBF event back to McMinnville in 2015, and at that event I will be once again "brave the shave". This year my efforts are dedicated to fundraising for this great cause and assisting with the WOU event in any way I can. So, for this year, I will be growing my hair so I can hopefully have enough to donate in 2015. We do have a wonderful group from volunteers from McMinnville who will be joining me at the WOU event as shavees. A huge thanks to Amanda S, Daniel Kobs, Kody Quilan, and Lucas Slavens for their dedication to supporting St. Baldrick's Foundation.
