McMinnville man accused of stabbing arrested

UPDATE Friday, 3:30 p.m.:

 McMinnville police arrested Thomas Greenslade at 2:30 p.m. He was lodged in the Yamhill County Jail on a probation violation without bail,  pending a police investigation into the stabbing incident.

A McMinnville man was stabbed about 8 p.m. Thursday outside First Baptist Church, 135 S.E. Cowls St.

Capt. Dennis Marks did not identify the 59-year-old victim. He was stabbed in the arm, and described the weapon as a knife. He declined medical treatment.

The suspect has been identified as 45-year-old Thomas Greenslade, a Yamhill County resident with a lengthy criminal record. He was identified by the victim, according to Marks.

Greenslade was seen driving away from the scene in a Subaru or Toyota sedan.

Marks said anyone seeing Greenslade should call 911 and not approach him. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call McMinnville police at 503-434-7307.



You would think, after these yo-yos are in and out of jail every other week, they'd smarten up and get out of Dodge.
At least have the brains to go where nobody knows you.
