Linfield put on an offensive showcase Saturday, totaling 30 hits in two games, as the 'Cats beat host Pacific 18-3 and 11-0. McMinnville's Chris Haddeland and Zach Brandon compbined for 10 strikouts while each earning a victory on the mound.


All-America slugger Lisa Yamamoto whacked three doubles and Karina Paavola  earned two pitching victories for the Wildcats, who swept a Northwest Conference doubleheader from the previously unbeaten George Fox Bruins Saturday at Morse Field.

Men's Tennis

Picking up their first doubles win as a tandem, Linfield's Lukas Kleinman and Kelsey Rosborough  provided a bit of traction for the Linfield Wildcats, who dropped an 8-1 Northwest Conference match to the host Puget Sound Loggers inside the UPS Tennis Pavilion.

Women's Tennis

Linfield snaps a two-match losing streak with an 8-1 victory over Puget Sound in the Wildcats' home opener. Caroline Brigham, Mackenzie Fraser, Kelly Watanabe and Kaila Nip were perfect in both rounds of competition. Marisa Kume added a victory at No. 4 singles.

Men's Golf

Linfield's Taylor Klopp fired a two-under 142 at The Home Course in Pugent Sound to earn medalist honors at the Pacific Lutheran Invitational over the weekend. Klopp's second round 70 tied a career low.
