Two injured in Wallace Road motorcycle crash

DAYTON — Two people were injured as the result of a serious motorcycle crash about 7 p.m. Saturday south of Dayton in the 16250 block of Wallace Road, according to Yamhill Communications Agency radio traffic.
One victim reportedly sustained a broken leg. Another victim was unconscious but breathing. A Life Flight helicopter was requested. A second helicopter was also requested, but the estimated time of arrival was about 40 minutes from Longview, Wash., so it was decided to transport the patient by ambulance to Salem Hospital.
Wallace Road was closed in the area of Unionvale and Grand Island /Fairview roads while the crash was investigaged and the scene was cleared.
Details of the crash and names of the victims were not immediately available.
