That is right. Good for her. Students have a right to struggle. I think that it is too tempting today for teachers and parents to fight their children's struggles for them. However under the Christian principle of Subsidiarity, it is a violation of a person's dignity to do something for him of which he can do himself. Abe Lincoln also said that. (His policies are another matter.) That is why socialism is so evil. It violates the person's dignity.

I just love this teacher. I know that in my own life the struggles and hard times taught me the most about myself and life in general. It's where I experienced the most growth as a person. I not only gained skills and knowledge, I gained self-confidence and self-respect.


Both my girls had Ms Price at Grandhaven.....She was awesome!
