Starting Friday at 10 a.m., Northeast Davis Street between Second and Fourth streets as well as Evans Street between Third and Fourth streets will be closed for the UFO Festival. These streets will remain closed until 10 p.m. Saturday.

Parade barricades will go up at 11 a.m. Saturday on Northeast Third Street between Cowls and Irvine and on Fourth between Cowls and Galloway streets. Additional barades for the parade route will affect Galloway Street between Third and Sixth streets, and Fifth Street between Evans and Irvine. Parade barricades will stay in place until 5 p.m. when the parade ends.

Vehicles and parking will not be allowed in these areas during the parade. Detours through the area will be on Northeast Baker, Johnson, Second and Seventh streets. Spectators gather along the Third and Fourth street routes.

Entries will gather at noon on the county parking lot behind the community center. The UFO parade will begin at 2 p.m., traveling west from Galloway to Cowls on Fourth Street, turning from Cowls onto Third Street. It will move in the opposite direction from last year’s parade.
