Less government influence would be nice. The winery owners are adults they are not going to do anything to harm their industry. Let them do whatever it takes to promote and build their business. The winery owners have brought a Great Tourism market to Yamhill County. Since 49% of all wineries are in California and 90% of all wine production in the USA comes from California, maybe we should take a close look at Nappa and the rules and regulations in most California wine areas that have helped California grow to 90% of the wine production in the USA and maybe we can help Oregon grow to grab a little more market share, without hurting our beautiful farm land.
