Health care should not be a 'for profit' business enterprise. We need to remove insurance companies from health care delivery. We should demand a single-payer Medicare-for-all-system in the United States. Such a system would dramatically lower costs by broadening the pool of covered applicants and by eliminating the profit motive of big insurance companies and their CEO's. It would also allow older workers to retire much earlier, opening up employment opportunities for younger Americans.
