Shakespeare outdoor show set Aug. 1-3
“Twelfth Night” will play at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Aug. 1 and 2, and 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3. Admission is free.
Daniel and Sydney Sommerfield started the nonprofit Willamette Shakespeare Company six years ago when they were living in McMinnville. They recruited actors, costumers and stage technicians to put on a series of shows in outdoor venues each summer.
“Twelfth Night” is a comedy involving mistaken identity and other twists. It was first performed in 1602.
Following the Stoller shows, the play will be performed Aug. 8 to 10 at Montinore Estate, Forest Grove, and Aug. 15-17 at Ponzi Vineyards, Sherwood.
