I remember something taught in my time of international relations. One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter. I always look at these acts not only what they may have done wrong, but also what we are doing wrong. i'm not talking security. I'm talking a little more towards the short comings of our own ways.

The one thing that I do think we can always say about exreme actions like this is they are acting against something, and sadly the people they are reacting too are never the one's that get hurt, most victims tend to in these cases tend to be externalities of the inteded target. Let's not forget that there are plenty that become extrenalities to our actions overseas as well. In fact Wikileaks was very good at showing many of them, before our government along with other agencies worked hard to make sure they were destroyed.
