Linfield to air sex trafficking expose

Following the screening, viewers can visit an information fair and art display in Jonasson Hall, below the auditorium in Melrose Hall. “Volviendo” follows three filmmakers as they conduct research for a fictional feature film about a sex slave from Latin America. After a dangerous trip through a dozen Latin countries, their hearts are changed by the brokenness of the victims.

The film was shot on location in Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Costa Rica, Peru and Chile, and in the U.S. cities of Phoenix, Los Angeles and Portland. It features more than 70 interviews with people on the front lines of social injustice.

The screening is being sponsored by The Chaplain’s Office and Chaplain’s Team. For more information, contact David Massey, college chaplain, at 503-883-2259 or
