Grassroots music festival returns
The lineup showcases both new and returning musicians. The Saturday night headliner will be Larry and His Flask.
Also booked are an array of Portland bands, including Hillstomp, RootJack, Lone Madrone and Moody Little Sister. Some long-distance bands will round out the field.
Throughout the weekend, festival-goers can indulge in food and drinks served up by local vendors on recycled, recylable and reuseable dishware. The menu will feature vegetarian and gluten-free options.
Local artists will be selling handcrafted wares. A kid’s zone will feature a petting zoo, face painting, a bouncy house, crafts and performances. And a $5 yoga classes will be held Saturday and Sunday mornings.
New this year is a trolley, which will loop the grounds and head into Willamina periodically. Round-trip rides, offered at $2 a person, include a stop at a local swimming hole.
Weekend passes are $80. Camping is free for children 12 and under, $10 for adults.
