It was very sad to hear of Chris Johnson's passing, he was a decent person to work for, I liked him very much. I recall when he had a temporary desk next to mine while he interviewed people for the manager's position in Public Health, his desk was so sparse, he hardly kept anything on it but a few binders, but he ran HHS from that little tine cubicle for several months. Mr. Bladine is right, Chris was strong, principled but mostly, happily for me, he was a very fair person. when he left our office I missed him, when he retired, I missed him more, and now I will remember him fondly.
