Don't let slow economy stop important transportation plans

Successful transportation projects require a vision dating back long before any asphalt is poured or tracks laid.

It sounds like a romantically great vision! It would be nice if the planning commission would consider that getting around in ones own community would be of an economic importance to growing the Yamhill County transportation infrastructure. Why is it over and over again we are hearing of new grand plans (transit center) touting the need to "build the transportation infrastructure" and huge amounts of money allocated by the county, and ODOT but a person cannot not use a bus to get to work in McMinnville unless he/she works between the hours of 9AM and 5PM.
This truly baffles me.
