I'm tired of people not taking responsibility for the choices they make in life. You choose to create a family, have children who you can't afford to support, house in at least an apartment, and then bristle at laws that protect people who have chosen to live within their means and don't want RVs parking outside their homes that they pay property taxes for and a house payment, etc. You are "economically disadvantaged" because you chose to be.

Again, I guess we need to remind everyone about constitutional guarantees of equal protection.

...would apply to everyone in every part of the city. Any exceptions, in order to avoid legal challenge, would have to be based on broad governmental interest, and could not be intended to target any particular group or neighborhood.
That would mean that anyone who pulls their boat, camper, trailer, or motor home out of storage and parks it on the street for a few weeks while they prepare it for travel, or who stores it on the street for the summer for weekend getaways, would be subject to repeat fine and/or boot. I'm not advocating one way or the other. I just think people should understand that in a constitutional system our laws must conform to certain uniform principles. In the long run we are all better off for it.
