With the fourth-place finish, the Grizzlies earned an automatic berth in the 6A state playoffs, which begin Feb. 26. McMinnville won’t find out its opponent until after the play-in round.

Mac tied the game on a layup from Parker with 2:17 left in the first half, and he added the free throw after being fouled. Parker scored six of Mac’s final eight points in the first half, and the score was tied 31-31 at halftime.

Mac outscored Forest Grove 20-6 in the third quarter and led 51-37 at the start of the fourth quarter.
