Get those ballots in by 8 p.m. Tuesday

 

As of Thursday, about 36.3 percent of Yamhill County voters had already returned ballots for the Tuesday, Nov. 8, election, the county clerk's office said.

The clerk's office plans to open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, in case voters have questions or need assistance. It's normal weekday hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Ballots must be turned in by 8 p.m. Tuesday in order to count. If you haven't mailed your ballot yet, you'll need to deliver it in person.

Ballots can be dropped off at the clerk's office, at Fourth and Evans streets in McMinnville, or in drop boxes at the following locations: the Yamhill County Courthouse parking lot in McMinnville; the Amity, Carlton, Dundee, Dayton, Lafayette, Sheridan, Willamina and Yamhill city halls; and the Portland Community College campus in Newberg and Chemeketa Community College campus in McMinnville.
