YAMHILL - Students, staff and community members braved the cold and fog Monday evening to come to Yamhill_Carlton High School and show their support for Julie McGraw.

McGraw, recently retired head coach of the Tigers' volleyball program, suffered a stroke Sunday while coaching a club team in a tournament in Salem. She was taken to a hospital in Salem where she is recovering. Jake McGraw, her son, told the crowd gathered at the vigil that his mom had shown improvement today.

The more then 100 people who attended told stories, offered prayers and showed support for one another, her family and all those in community who were close to her.
