Businesses moving as demolition nears

The mall, located at 448 N.E. Highway 99W, is slated for clearing to make way for a new Rite Aid. The new Rite Aid outlet will replace one located in the Town Center strip mall, which features the Goodwill thrift store, JoAnn fabric outlet and OnPoint credit union.

McMinnville Martial Arts has moved to 845 N.E. Eighth St., former home of McMinnville Crossfit. McMinnville Crossfit has moved to 1101 N.E. Alpine St., next to Spa Bliss.

H & R Block has moved to 865 N.E. Highway 99W, between Anytime Fitness and Aaron's Rent-to-Own.

Rodda Paint will be relocating to 2430 N.E. Highway 99W, next to Safeway. It is scheduled to make its move Sept. 18.

Papa Murphy's will be replacing Figuaro's Pizza at 1049 N.E. Highway 99W. A date for the move has not yet been set.

The Yogurt Shop plans to move to a center at 683 S.W. Keck Drive, anchored by Albertson's. It doesn't have a date yet either.

National Glass does not have a new location posted and representatives could not be reached.

Wilsonville developer Jon Hummelt, of Four Bears Holdings Limited Partnership, said that he's hoping to begin demolition in early October.

Plans call for construction of a 17,185-square-foot facility, with James E. John Construction Co. of Vancouver, Washington, serving as general contractor. The current strip mall encompasses 26,028 square feet.

Rite Aid is planning to open in the new location in 2015. It is planning to employ its new "Wellness Store" format.

Town Center, located at 1201 N.E. Highway 99W, has not yet announced plans for the space Rite Aid is vacating.
