REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE SEALED BIDS

The City of McMinnville will receive sealed written bids by US mail, a delivery service, or personal delivery (fax and e-mail are not acceptable methods of delivery) until 2:00 p.m. on August 27, 2015. Bids must be directed to Jenny Berg, Library Director, McMinnville Public Library, 225 NW Adams Street, McMinnville, OR 97128, and will be for the following services:

McMinnville Public Library?Entry Plaza Remodel

The exterior of any envelope containing a bid will be clearly and legibly marked with the following: ?Sealed Bid on McMinnville Public Library?Entry Plaza Remodel, City Project No. 2015-12.? All responses will be opened at 2:00 p.m. on August 27, 2015 at the McMinnville Public Library. Late bids will not be considered. The intent of this request for bids is to select one firm to provide renovation services for the McMinnville Public Library entry plaza. The City will select the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The bid documents may be reviewed at www.maclibrary.org or at the McMinnville Public Library, 225 NW Adams Street, McMinnville, Oregon Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Friday between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., and Monday by appointment (call 503 435-5550 for appointment). Hard copies of the bid documents may be obtained in person at the above times at a cost of $30, will be mailed upon receipt of a written request (request may be by US mail, e-mail, or fax to 503 472-4104) at a cost of $50, or may be ordered electronically at Jenny.Berg@ci.mcminnville.or.us. The contract for this renovation is a public work subject to prevailing wages under ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. Any questions regarding this request for bids that are submitted before August 21, 2015 and the City?s answers will be distributed via email to those who request notification. For this purpose, the City requests that any potential bidder obtaining copies of the bid documents provide Jenny Berg, at Jenny.Berg@ci.mcminnville.or.us, with a name and e-mail address.
