Talk looks at Oregon's Hispanic past

Matias Trejo De Dios of the Instituto de Cultura Oregoniana will discuss the era of trade between Native Americans, Hispanics, British and Russians along the Pacific Coast from 1543 and 1819. His studies cover more than 250 years of little-known history of the American Northwest, offering examples of the ethnic diversity of Hispanic expedition teams.

The museum is located at 1275 S.W. Durham Lane, McMinnville. For more information, call 503-472-2842.
