Sheridan school board will meet in cafeteria

The Sheridan School Board will discuss the search for a new superintendent when it meets this week in the high school cafeteria, a move meant to allow more social spacing because of the coronavirus outbreak.

The board usually meets in the district office.

An Oregon School Boards Association official will attend the meeting to discuss the superintendent search process. Superintendent Steve Sugg is leaving to join the Dayton district on June 30.

Administrators will not attend the 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, meeting, and only business items will be addressed.

For information, call the district office at 971-261-6959.
