Chuck Kadell was an extraordinary person. During the 35 years he worked for McMinnville Water and Light he came up with some great work arounds. For example, when pulling four feeder lines for Windishar Substation meant tearing up a farmer's field with heavy machinery, Chuck came up with the innovative idea of using his draft horses Rowdy and Porter to pull the lines across the field instead and accomplished the task in a few hours without damaging the field crop. He inspired many in this community; he is truly missed.
