How long before testing gets a serious conversation?.....how about starting with county employees.....they and their families get some valuable knowledge and the county Mgt look like hero’s......

Tagup, are you asking county administration, or the NR? If there's something else you'd like to see included in my coronavirus stories, please feel free to e-mail me your thoughts: nmontesano@newsregister.com. Invitation applies to other readers too. We'll be covering this issue for awhile, unfortunately, and I'm interested in hearing what readers feel would be helpful.
I'm also interested in contacting people who have had the disease, so I can start providing readers with more local accounts.

Nicole- thanks for your reply....
I guess my question was basically rhetorical, but certainly the commissioner’s are in a position to push the issue......We all want to return to normal, and we seem very willing to complain that the opening of business is either too fast or too slow; to wear masks or not....etc......our leadership seems to be missing an obvious solution to restoring consumer and employee confidence...Testing!
Maybe the press could shed some light on the obstacles to a more robust testing protocol And why testing has progressed so slowly in our area...the thoughts of our county commissioners On the subject might be very enlightening....
