Just don’t ignore the fact that Carlton is a farming community. The beauty that wine tasters come to see are the farm land enveloping Carlton.

Shorty, I don't think anyone is ignoring the fact that farming exists in Carlton. However that doesn't mean that it has to be an exclusive "farming community". Why can't you accept that its both a farming community and a winery community?....because, it is. I don't think that people travel from all parts of the world to view grass seed fields...pretty boring to look at by themselves. However I do feel that visitors enjoy the mix of mountains, trees, rivers, rolling hills, vineyards, great restaurants, tasting rooms and yes, farms. Lets also not forget....grapes are also a crop...yes?
