A very good display, the 0-1 Cessna used as a spotter plane also known as the (Birddog) carried as many as six Rocket flares under each wing to mark the spot of the enemy then calling in the Big guns under the wings of the F-4 Phantoms, F105G Thunderchief's,A-4Skyhawk's and the UH-1 Huey's to quickly neutralize the threat.469 of the 0-1's were Lost during the Vietnam War from 1961-75.

small correction to my below comment :
The 0-2 Cessna is the one the museum has on display ,a push puller engine ,one on the front & one on the back. does the same job as the 0-1 with exception more power.
