This is good news! He's done a good job as interim, bringing common sense.

Lazy recruitment practices don’t serve the public. Due diligence should be undertaken with every aspect of government…. It wasn’t in this case.

Other than Mr. Geary, I am not at all impressed with this city council or the mayor.

I'm curious what your disappoint is about? What would you like to have them do differently? (Not trying to pick a fight... just wondering)

B

CubFan - there seems to be an absence of critical thinking and little focus on expense management to name a few. Not conducting a search for a competent city manager is just another example.

still waiting on that audit that got the Mayor elected.

Someday soon, the council will need citizens to take them at their word.

Unfortunately, due to the discrepancy between their previous stated intent on the recruitment process, and their actions, they won't be trusted.

I hope everyone in the community remembers this when they come reaching into your pocket, or asking for your vote for them or their causes, in the future.

The guy is a sell out for Oregon. Using a republican title to get elected from the hard working, bill paying people of the Oregon coast Tillamook & Clatsop County’s. I wonder why those voters can’t recall the guy for changing parties in the middle. He was a true Democrat from the start. He wants to keep mail in fraud going letting the dead people and illegals keep voting. Typical Democrat, change the rules in the middle of the game. hopefully the voters in those counties will remember this. They should already have a petition going against that loser.

Ron: Think you mean to be referencing State Rep. Cyrus Javadi. Can't pin a party switch on Adam Garvin, who is the subject of this story.
