Linda Hays - My memory is a little hazy, so correct me if I'm wrong. Wasn't your store the one who needed crowd-funding to keep the business going? Before Covid hit businesses hard? Now you want to encourage the city to charge businesses even more so there will be information that is already accessible through the Chamber and MDA?

The article says the chamber sent out a survey - the only response printed here is the one that is FOR the new fees/taxes. I'm betting there were plenty more that didn't support it. Where is the equal coverage?

No more fees and taxes on businesses. They took the hardest hit from the shut-down and are still trying to get up from the ten count. Leave them alone!

Nice catch, BC. One sample out of 450+ chamber members, so it's settled, right?

Jeez, yet another tax on your utility bills.

Can't city "staff" give it a rest and quit planning for a while? We're being planned into bankruptcy.
