Gonna have to go UP! I’d say raze Brockwood and Ford Dip and go way way up in those neighborhoods. And fill in all the parking lots on 1st, 2nd and Third and go way way up there, too and go higher on the parking structure. Turn McMinnville into tiny Portland. I think Newberg is headed toward a similar fate also.

My opinion of building smaller more affordable housing, for example, duplexes and apartments or single family homes that are government subsidized is going to take away the small town beauty of McMinnvile. I have lived in McMinnville for almost 60 years. I believe McMinnville will prosper in the future if the County would lower the zoning of certain property surrounding McMinnville that would give incoming prospective businesses and their owners a vision to move into this beatiful area. Many people would love to find smaller acreages of land to build on close to the City of McMinnville and there isn’t any of these smaller type properties available.
