Since the board hired a county administrator, and assistant administrator, it functions more like a group of paid lobbyists. It may be time to reconsider a home rule charter. They could then hire a professional lobbyist, and probably save money, while the commissioners stay closer to home and focus more energy on local issues.

Good for you. I couldn't get Kulla to answer a simple question this summer about whether or not he supported initiatives 43 and 44. Last week, he wrote that he didn't know about them at all.
