Aside from the price of the toilet, who pays the bill for a week-long Washington, D.C. trip to tell the story that impressed no one?
Joel
Thanks for the hundred thousand dollar toilet, Mr Mayor and City Council. Now, how are things looking with the old broken down RV and tent city down on Marsh Lane? That still on the agenda? Take a drive down there sometime. They're now lined up on both sides of the street. It's gotten so bad you almost cant drive down the street.

The Street of Nightmares.

Add to that the encampment on the south side of 4th Street at Adams and the ever increasing wanderers about town.

THIS IS THE SAME DISTRICT WHERE BOTH MENKE AND HILL SUBSIZED THESE BEAUTIFUL HOMES AND SANCTIONED NEW APARTMENT HOUSING UNDER "AFFORDABLE" AS SO TO CONDEMN THEM TO SECTION 8 STANDARDS. WE HAVE BEEN UNDER THE THUMB OF SELLOUTS FOR AS LONG AS 28 YEARS. GET THESE ACCOUNTANTS A CLUE. COMPARING A SHITHOLE TO THE BYPASS WAS A NICE TOUCH TOM. 100K FOR A SHITHOLE IS EXACTLY THE KIND OF DUMB KELLIE MENKE GETS EXCITED OVER.

Who will the toilet be named for?

Consumer-Reporter:
You have now posted at least three times in all caps.
Could you please refrain from that it the future. It irritates the heck out of others, thus limiting the impact of anything you have to say.
Caps are considered the hallmark of the angry and ill-informed. They serve to inject bile, not add emphasis. I think you'll have more luck if you ditch them.

How about we name it the Tom Henderson Rumination Center. Or, if it's a two-holer, the Tom Henderson Rumination & Reflection Center.
I refer, of course, tongue firmly in cheek, to the N-R's intrepid city hall reporter.

Swell--and we could probably order some back copies of the Sears, Roebuck catalogue.
